M. Ward
I was thumbing through some Monsters of Folk songs and recalled this jam that if I heard from anyone else I would probably spit on them. In all seriousness it's a great song and once in a while I can, in fact, skew from my norm.

Make The Girl Dance
Had a friend send me this dope ass clever video...no bullshit, if you can get past the scandalous women, it's actually a well thought out and executed video. And as a bonus the song is catchy...plus it's French, and who doesn't love the French.

The Heavy
Ha, I love these guys for the wonderful blend of genres and sound. It wasn't until a commercial featuring a sock monkey that I realized they had a new album out. The thing I love is that they made a song based on what I tell people when I get off the dance floor.

Galaxie 500
Just found out about this band a little bit ago, and it's about 20 years too late. This song really stood out to me right away, then I discovered it was on the "Greenburg" soundtrack so obviously the visual I have is Ben Stiller yelling "Sit on my dick." Enjoy.

April March
Don't know much about her besides that she's french, but she has a classic voice and sound that is a bit cheeky. It goes oh so well with Death Proof.

Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Titch
I've been meaning to get a play list together of songs from Tarantino movies and Wes Anderson's, so finally I made it happen. They do an amazing job on soundtrack selection, adding elements and feel to their films that heighten everything from start to finish. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that would disagree.

King Khan & His Shrines
I've loved the style of this band for a while but couldn't find the song that made me lose my shit...I found it and it's probably because I'm able to yell "shes' fat, she's ugly."

Band Of Skulls
Put on head phones, close your eyes and imagine some 20,000 people loosing their minds, myself included. These guys whaled at Coachella and once again that festival sucked me in and wouldn't stop accosting me. Absolutely mind blasting, get that shit on and just wait for the ultimate climax.

Gil Scott-Heron
Good ol' Gill is back with that sultry voice that'll get plenty of panties in a twist.

Beach Fossils
I've had this in my back pocket for quite some time. It's one of those songs that doesn't really stand out until it's the right time. I happen to be letting everything play and it finally tugged. Sit back and suck it in.

Drink Up Buttercup
Reminiscent of a little beatles, to me at least...a great toe tapper, wonderful and light. Don't be afraid to sing along.

Dan Black
This wouldn't normally be my cup of tea because I hate tea but it's catchy enough to be on repeat.
